Your figures, text and files are worked on in your own browser. They are not sent to me and I do not store them.
A few tools look things up on other services (map search, exchange rates, market prices). Only what the lookup needs is sent, as listed below.
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits. I see totals, not who you are. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, its cookies are only set if you accept them.
There are no ads and no accounts, and I do not sell your data. If you email me, I get your email address and message.

Who runs this site
Adjie Brotools (tool.adjiebrotots.com) is a personal project by Adjie Brotosukmono, an individual in Perth, Western Australia. Here "I" means Adjie. For any privacy question, email [email protected]. The terms for using the tools are on the Disclaimer page.
What stays on your device
Your inputs and files. Every calculation, chart and conversion runs in your browser. Files you open in a tool (a CSV, a video, a document) are not uploaded.
Remembered work. Most tools keep your last inputs and settings, and some keep a copy of downloaded prices or exchange rates, in your browser's local storage.
Saved scenarios are downloaded as files to your device.
Share links and embedded charts carry your inputs or chart data in the link itself, after the #, which browsers do not send to the web server. Anyone you give a link to can read what is in it.
Offline copies. A service worker keeps copies of the site's pages, code and fonts so tools load fast and work offline. It stores site files, not your inputs.
To remove all of this, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
What other services receive
Loading any web page sends your IP address and basic browser details to the servers it comes from. For this site those are:
Records the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. I use it to see which tools are used and what needs work. Google says Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. It does not run on embedded charts. See how Google uses this information.
Map (Load Flow Simulator)
Map tiles from OpenStreetMap, EOX and Open Infrastructure Map. Text you type in the place search is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service.
Exchange rates
The Cost of Living Comparator, its map and the Rent vs Own sensitivity page request current rates from open.er-api.com or the fawazahmed0 currency API (via Cloudflare or jsDelivr). Your inputs are not sent.
Market prices (DCA tools)
The tickers and dates you load, with your IP address, go to a small service I run on Cloudflare Workers, which fetches the prices from Yahoo Finance or Stooq (they see Cloudflare, not you). To stop abuse it may keep a daily count of requests per IP address, deleted automatically within about 36 hours. I keep no record of who loaded which tickers. Cloudflare may keep its own short-term logs (Cloudflare privacy policy).
Web addresses you enter
If you load a file from a web address (for example in the JSON Visualiser), your browser fetches it from that site directly.
Email
If you email me, I get your address, name if given, and message. I use them only to reply and fix what you report, and I add you to no list. My email is hosted by Google. Ask and I will delete it.
These providers run servers in many countries, including the United States, and handle what they receive under their own privacy policies.
Cookies
_ga, _ga_โฆ
Google Analytics cookies that tell a new visit from a repeat one. They last up to two years. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are only set after you accept; until then Analytics counts the visit without cookies.
yf_req
Set by the DCA tools to count today's price requests from this browser. It expires at the end of the day.
Your cookie choice
Kept in your browser's local storage (abt-consent) so you are not asked again.
The site shows no ads today. If I add ads (for example Google AdSense), I will update this page first, including how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.
Your choices and rights
Change your Analytics cookie choice at any time:
Block or delete cookies in your browser. The tools still work.
Clear this site's data in your browser to remove everything it stored on your device.
Depending on where you live (for example under Australian privacy law, the GDPR or a US state privacy law), you may have the right to ask what personal information is held about you, and to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, Analytics cookies are only used with your consent, which you can withdraw with the button above. I hold no accounts or profiles, so most such data sits with Google, GitHub or Cloudflare, but email me and I will help with anything I can reach. You can also complain to your local privacy regulator; in Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
The tools are not aimed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If the site starts to collect something new, I will update this page first and change the date at the top.
