Use PSCAD Scripter in your AI
Install one skill in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini or Copilot, then ask your question in plain words. Your AI looks up what you did not say, lists every assumption with its source, and replies with one link that opens PSCAD Scripter on your scenario. The tool works out the answer, so the figures you see are the tool's, not the chatbot's.
A .zip skill: SKILL.md (how to answer), references/ (every input, its range and the Quick Starts) and scripts/build_link.py (builds and checks the link).
Install the skill
Pick your assistant. The demo plays the steps; press a step to jump to it.
Menus move as these apps update: look for Skills (Claude: Settings, Customize; ChatGPT and Grok: Plugins; Gemini: Customise; Copilot: inside an agent). Gemini takes the unzipped folder; the others take the zip as it is. No skill support on your plan? Attach brotools-pscad-scripter.zip or its SKILL.md to the chat and say "use this skill".
Effective 7 November 2026. AI changes quickly: the UI, plans and features may be different by the time you see this.
How to use it
Ask as you would ask a friend. With the skill on, the AI keeps your figures, researches the rest, and hands you the link. It does not give the answer itself: the tool does, once you open the link.
using tool.adjiebrotots.com/pscad-scripter/builder, write me a PSCAD script for C:/Studies/wind_farm.pscx that runs fault ride through for fault durations from 0.1 s to 0.3 s and saves the results tables as Excel files
scripts/build_link.py: link checked
Your inputs
- blk.n1.project: C:/Studies/wind_farm.pscx
- blk.n2.from: 0.1
- blk.n2.to: 0.3
Assumptions
- Study: the Fault ride through Quick Start (qs=frt): for each fault duration it times the fault on the case's Timed Fault Logic, runs the EMT simulation and tables the voltage dip and the machine speed nadir, with every run's speed on one graph.
- Durations: 0.1 s to 0.3 s in the Quick Start's steps of 0.04 s (blk.n2.from, blk.n2.to).
- Case: C:/Studies/wind_farm.pscx, exactly as the user wrote it.
- Tables: saved as Excel files rather than CSV (blk.n1.tableFmt).
- Channels and the fault component: left as the Quick Start has them (Vpcc, Machine Speed, master:tfaultn), for the user to set to the names in their own case.
Your scenario

Open the link to see the result.
- Your figures stay yours. Anything you state goes in as you said it; correct any assumption and the AI sends a new link.
- Checked before you see it. The skill's script checks every input's name, range and choices before the AI sends the link, so it opens the scenario listed.
- The tool shows what the AI chose. When the link opens, a banner lists each value the AI set and why, with an Undo back to your own inputs.
