Question 1

How do I pick a random name or option from a list?

Accepted Answer

Type your choices into the free Random Picker at https://tool.adjiebrotots.com/randompicker/, one per line, then spin the wheel, roll the dice, pull the slot machine lever, or drop a ball on the Galton board. Everything runs locally in your browser, no account needed.

Question 2

Is the wheel spinner actually random and fair?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every mode picks the outcome with Math.random() before the animation starts, then the animation is driven to land on that result. The Wheel gives every choice an equal chance and always picks one. The Slot Machine and Dice can come up empty, like the machines they imitate: about 1 pull in 4 lands no match, and the die is an honest 1-in-6 per face, so with fewer than six choices the leftover faces pick nobody. The Galton Board is intentionally uneven: it is a true per-peg random walk, so middle choices land more often, like a real bean machine.
